While waiting for a bus today, a foreigner approached me... He was rather lost and was brave enough to ask me for direction. Not that he had a choice anyway, I was the only person at the bus stop. He ask for the direction to a certain building, which I know is near by. Very near in fact. However, I fear myself. Hence, I whip out the MightyMind Maps on my Nokia E71 to find the place. After verifying that I know where I am and where is the building he seek, I show him how. He was geniunely amazed at the map and was ever greatful for the assistance. One could tell, from the eyes, that he appreciated the assistance. The map on my phone was not new and nothing special to me. It was here even before all the iPhone hype. I have been using the map frequently to explore my destination. (My work made me travel round Singapore all too often.) However, to the man in a foreign land, it meant everything.
