Johnny Fell sick, suspected food poisoning.... that sure sucks.... He report off work work and bought two sets of Hotcakes with Sausages + Iced Milo from McDonald's... One set for his wife, one set for himself... After meal, his wife went out while he sleeps at home. All was well and nothing amissed. However, Johnny suddenly woke up at about 5pm with a sudden urge to vomit... So, he got up, went to the toilet and sign up as a part time Merlion. Milo everywhere!!!! Thereafter, he went back to sleep.... Only to wake at about 8pm to play the role or a Merlion again... He couldn't sleep after that. His tummy was aching very badly that even paracetamol didn't help. Eventually, a few oranges (Glucose + Citric Acid) helped to neutralize the pain. Dinner was ready but he can't eat. Cuz it was steamed crab!!! What a pity... People have always been telling me that my kind of work is VERY dangerous... You'll never know how true it can be... ... My work requires me to talk to nonsensical people. Frequently. I am also required to neutralize any threat to life and properties. Entertain people of unsound mind, and apprehend dangerous people. Little did I realized that sometimes, the most dangerous things can happen, where it seems the most unlikely, and when you lease expect it. There was a small fire in my office today. No fanciful Hollywood explosion. No Channel 8 drama. Just a small fire. I was seated less than 50cm away from it... OMG... SCDF classified the fire as a C2 Accidental Short Circuit... (Phew...) Having been to scene of fire before, (in person, NOT on TV, videos etc) I am fully aware of how dangerous an uncontrolled fire can be... Thankfully it was only a short circuit fire. Strawberries!!! Early in the morning, before the sun rise, the birds wake... We are out in the freezing cold (15˚C) to catch the Sun Rise!!! Unfortunately, the clouds prove too much for the sun to poke through... We were assigned with a Super Guide that can withstand the elements and tell the plants from the animals by sight, smell and hearing... He's going for his Masters soon, a Naturalist he is.... After the missed Sun Rise, we went back to the resort for some Food... Thereafter, we back to our rooms for a nap. Woke up a while later for a dip in their in door pool with FREEZING water... Took a walk at the Administrative Town of Tanah Rata. There isn't much to see here. Hence, we set out to look for the Parit Falls. We found the Parit Falls, but it was disappointing... Hence, we hunt for the Watch Tower, but couldn't find it.... Since it was getting late and we seems nearer to Brinchang than Tanah Rata, we decided to walk the remaining 4km back to Tanah Rata....

Tea Plantation!!! Click for larger Image. On our First day at Cameron Highlands, we visited the Tea Farms, scaled Gunung Brinchang. At 6666ft above sea level, it is the highest peak in Cameron Highlands accessible by road. We than took a walk in the jungle. We were led by an experience guide. Thank Goodness I did not need to grab onto anything to move around... Yucks... The walk was follow by a visit to the BOH Tea Factory. A visit to the Sunflower Farms, Vegetable farms, Strawberry Farms and Cactus Garden ends our day. The Steamboat Dinner is nice, with free flow of vegetable. The meat is not very fresh, well, we're on the mountains, what can we expect? Lastly, a walk at the night market where we bought almost all our souvenir from. Enjoy the Video. I have finally made the decision to migrate all my email services to Google Apps. Google Apps, in this case, I am using Gmail, allows me to retrieve mail from many different mail boxes and reply the emails via respective email address. It allows me to manage ALL my emails from one central account. Convenient isn't it? And the best part is, Google Apps BREAKS DOWN sometimes... It'll give me a GREAT excuse to stop checking emails for a while... Haha... I already have my outlook appointments synchronized with Google Calendar. I am currently transferring all my emails from Outlook into Gmail... I have close to 1gb of archive emails that I want to store online. It have happened before that my outlook data file was lost, as such, I lost ALL prior emails, contacts and appointments. The next step will be to transfer all my contacts from Outlook into Google. After all, Google do provide an exchange server service for me to synchronized my contacts and appointments on my mobile...

Many people will know that I am a very google person now... And many more know that I took A LOT of photos but never post them online... My typical work flow goes like this. 1) Take Photo 2) Copy photos to computer 3) Edit some photos with photoshop 4) Select the photos to be uploaded 5) Resize the photos with photoshop 6) Upload the photos to PhotoBucket 7) Create the blog entry and link to the photos in PhotoBucket See, many steps, just to show the world my blog... I even sign up for the PhotoBucket Professional account to accomodate my requirements.. Sometime last month, I tried Picasa 3... Very useful... But I didn't go futher in it... Today, I found 3 mins to explorse Picasa Web Albums... And I realised that I just have to upload the photos, Picasa will resize for me... To post the photos elsewhere, I select the size and paste the link will do... SO Convenient... Hence, this is my new work flow now.... 1) Take Photo 2) Copy photos to computer 3) Edit som...

I was at Toyogo and saw that my box is on offer again, hence, I bought half a dozen to pack my room... To pack most of the things, I have to remove alot of old carton boxes and replace them with Toyogo Plastic boxes... While packing my room, I realised that I have many many books... These are the books that I used to read in Secondary School. These are when I was in Primary School. Ho Ho Ho... Secondary School Literature Books. I went to Comex 2009 on 10/09/09 and bought a LG X110-G Netbook for $758... Today, I bought the M1 7.2mbps Mobile Broadband plan. I love this tiny little baby netbook. It is really very small and extremely portable. However, the weight is reasonable with a included 6-cell battery. Best of all, it comes with Build in 3.75G SIM card slot. The software required to connect is also bundled together. Upon closer inspection, I can see that it is running on a Ericsson Broadband hardware... Not bad for a tiny netbook. Today we were at Head Office and planned a small surprise for Alvin... It's his Birthday!!!! We got a small cake for him.... And he is VERY happy about it... There after, we were suppose to go the Ten Dollar Karaoke at Chinatown, however, it was fully booked. We end up going to Party World nearby for a whole night of songs... Haha... It is fun... It have been a LONG LONG time since ALL OF US went out together. Everyone are busy with their respective work.. Though we see other almost daily, it is difficult to coordinate out time together.. Early in the morning, we went to the Singapore Flyer with my parents!!! Today we went on the morning flight... Nice day time view... My mom and the Tanjong Rhu Condos. My mom with me wife... The yet to be completed Marina Sands IR. Hey! That's ME!!! With my parents now... My parents and the Singapore City Skyline. They will be building the garden on top soon... Touching down... A model of the completed IR and the building in progress. My parents enjoyed the trip throughly... It was nice to see Singapore from 176 metres high up... Would gladly go again anytime...
