People have always been telling me that my kind of work is VERY dangerous... You'll never know how true it can be... ... My work requires me to talk to nonsensical people. Frequently. I am also required to neutralize any threat to life and properties. Entertain people of unsound mind, and apprehend dangerous people. Little did I realized that sometimes, the most dangerous things can happen, where it seems the most unlikely, and when you lease expect it. There was a small fire in my office today. No fanciful Hollywood explosion. No Channel 8 drama. Just a small fire. I was seated less than 50cm away from it... OMG... SCDF classified the fire as a C2 Accidental Short Circuit... (Phew...) Having been to scene of fire before, (in person, NOT on TV, videos etc) I am fully aware of how dangerous an uncontrolled fire can be... Thankfully it was only a short circuit fire. Me wife is going for Lasik soon. Since her birthday is round the corner, I bought a Oakley that she like as her birthday present!!! It would NOT have been possible without the assistance of her god-siblings... Thanks People!!! This little baby cost close to $500 !!! Thank goodness her god-siblings are contributing to it... Relieve my burden drastically... Thanks People!!! We went to the shop and they do not carry Powder Blue Half Jacket, the model we wanted. Strawberries!!! Early in the morning, before the sun rise, the birds wake... We are out in the freezing cold (15˚C) to catch the Sun Rise!!! Unfortunately, the clouds prove too much for the sun to poke through... We were assigned with a Super Guide that can withstand the elements and tell the plants from the animals by sight, smell and hearing... He's going for his Masters soon, a Naturalist he is.... After the missed Sun Rise, we went back to the resort for some Food... Thereafter, we back to our rooms for a nap. Woke up a while later for a dip in their in door pool with FREEZING water... Took a walk at the Administrative Town of Tanah Rata. There isn't much to see here. Hence, we set out to look for the Parit Falls. We found the Parit Falls, but it was disappointing... Hence, we hunt for the Watch Tower, but couldn't find it.... Since it was getting late and we seems nearer to Brinchang than Tanah Rata, we decided to walk the remaining 4km back to Tanah Rata....

Tea Plantation!!! Click for larger Image. On our First day at Cameron Highlands, we visited the Tea Farms, scaled Gunung Brinchang. At 6666ft above sea level, it is the highest peak in Cameron Highlands accessible by road. We than took a walk in the jungle. We were led by an experience guide. Thank Goodness I did not need to grab onto anything to move around... Yucks... The walk was follow by a visit to the BOH Tea Factory. A visit to the Sunflower Farms, Vegetable farms, Strawberry Farms and Cactus Garden ends our day. The Steamboat Dinner is nice, with free flow of vegetable. The meat is not very fresh, well, we're on the mountains, what can we expect? Lastly, a walk at the night market where we bought almost all our souvenir from. Enjoy the Video.
