After two months of deliberation... I am finally posted to be an investigator... Where the REAL policing work are. The wheel of motion started on 27/01/2010. 27/01/2010 - Breakfast with CO. I had taken the initiative to inform CO of the intention to move on. He informed me that he will see what he can do. No promises. ^_^ 10/02/2010 - Interview with HI. I received a call while at work. I was told by SA HI that he is scheduling a interview for me with HI. It will either be today, or the day after. I told him immediately. 18/02/2010 - I think it's this date TL enquired with me about my posting issue. CO had spoken to him before I did... It is confirmed that I will be posted to IB soon. 01/03/2010 - IO fresh intake. A new batch of officers are posted to IB. 02/03/2010 - Inform by TL. We went to HDB to choose our unit today. There wasn't much unit left. Only unit below the 5th floors are available. We were there early and we waited impatiently as we saw the unit being taken up one after another. Eventually, we decided on a third floor unit that faces the LRT tracks, and beyond that, Punggol MRT! The morning sun will shine on the master bedroom, and we are completed shielded from the evening sun. That should not make my house too heaty in the evenings next time. Before we could confirm the unit that we want, we have to wait for the couple that was ahead of us to decide their unit! Oooohhhh... the fear that they will take our choice unit is so... unbearbale... Thankfully, after a short wait, they selected other unit.... After signing the documents and confirm our unit. We left happily. Yeah!!! We got our own house.. now we wait... for the minimum numbers of buyers before HDB confirm want to build... Once it is confirm, we will sign the lease agreemen...
