Museum Trip
we been to the National Musuem of Singapore!!!! the first ancient we see was this golden notice board, which shows that some 'somebody' in the past declare the building open..
we paid for the tour and proceed to the entrence...
we were given the head set that will play back the audio recording to us, than can listen to the documentry at our own pace....
once we set foot in side, we see a giant 360degrees screen and it keep on play back a video showing daily singaporeans life.... it was made by a foreigner for singapore....
anyway, the first exhibit we see is the Singapore Stone.
the stone got story one.... long ago got the stone sitting at the singapore river bank, and one day this strong guy lift it up and throw it to the other side than people praise him. than people forget bout stone, some body wrote something on it even before the stong man threw it.. than this ang moh engineer come and blow the stone up so that he can build some thing there. the ang moh dont know the stone got writing ma, so jiu too bad le lo.. than this is the only piece reamaining left.
no one knows what is written on it yet...
after that we saw this handsome guy that got a few statue standing around singapore.. yup yup.... Sinagpore's founder... Sir Stamford Raffles... here got his potrait...
he's one great guy la.. found Singapore...
but got stories bout who is the real person who founded Singapore some says it the Sir William Farquhar
(pronuced fahr-kwer as in FAH-KER)
anyway, that's history and historians' issue, not mine...
